It's always nice to get two points against a division rival, and it's even better doing it in dominating fashion. That's just what the Colorado Avalanche did in rolling over the Winnipeg Jets, 7-1. The top line for the Avs saw 12 total points and Colorado used one of their best periods of the season in the 2nd to separate from Winnipeg, then used the 3rd to turn on the afterburners. All while getting all seven goals past one of the best goalies in the NHL.

The Avs have to feel as confident as they have all season, and they should. But can they carry that confidence into the weekend when they try to avenge their worst lost of the season when the Toronto Maple Leafs come to town.
