Avs Beat Stars in Exciting Preseason OT. Some Tough Decisions to be Made This Week.

We got to see more household names on the Colorado Avalanche than at any other point during the Avs 4th preseason game against the Dallas Stars Sunday night. But as is the case with the preseason, it's more about the guys trying to make the team than the ones who have already made it.

While we got to see a glimpse into what the Nathan MacKinnon, Mikko Rantanen and Jonathan Drouin line will look like (early indications are very good), what is likely giving head coach Jared Bednar sleepless nights has been the play of guys like Riley Tufte (another goal), Joel Kiviranta and undrafted Ivan Ivan.

They are all making cases for themselves to be on the opening night roster, but there is likely only one spot to go around. It should be an exciting week!
