The Colorado Avalanche didn't have to battle from behind Sunday night against the Buffalo Sabres, but it wasn't a walk in the park by any stretch either. A goal, followed by a power play goal thanks to an unsuccessful Buffalo challenge, separated the Avs from the Sabres, 4-1. The Avs now hold an 18 game winning streak at home, a 16 game point streak and a 10 game overall winning streak.

But it wasn't all pretty. The Avalanche didn't have the jump we are accustomed to, and forward Andre Burakovsky was demoted to the 3rd line mid game. If that wasn't bad enough, the one who replaced him was Dylan Sikura. An AHL callup from a few days ago. Does this mean anything long term for Burky, or was this just an off night in a series of off nights for the Avs forward?

Chris and Kyle break it all down as well as the latest installment of the LOPN: Sound Check.
