The wait is officially over! Colorado Avalanche hockey returns tonight in Los Angeles as the Avs will take on the LA Kings.

But the Avs were not done dealing before their season kicks off. The Avalanche went ahead and got some more depth pieces in Ivan Prosvetov as well as a very sly move to acquire defenseman Caleb Jones from the Carolina Hurricanes.

We also discuss how we feel this season will go for the Avalanche, in are we expecting a repeat of the past couple seasons where they pick things up after the calendar changes, or should we have a more consistent season right from the beginning?
