Another Deficit Overcome. Avalanche Rattle Off 5 Straight Goals to Beat Ottawa, 7-4

The Colorado Avalanche seem to like this comeback way of playing.

Once again, the Avs found themselves down. This time it was 4-2 to the Ottawa Senators. But the one thing the Sens are known for is giving up goals. And one thing the Colorado Avalanche are known for is scoring them, and that's exactly what they did. The Avs rattled off five straight to take a commanding 7-4 victory and salvage the 2nd game of a back to back.

One day after the Avs depth lines did next to nothing in Montreal, they stepped up in a huge way against the Senators. Jason Polin netted his first career goal, and Sam Malinksi found one, had another called back, and added an assist.

Finally, Justus Annunen got the call up and a shot in net. It went about as you would expect. Some good, some bad.
