A 15 game point streak comes to a crashing stop as the Colorado Avalanche play their worst game of the year in an 8-3 loss to Minnesota

Well that was awful. The Colorado Avalanche, who have been the hottest team in the league, burned up last night against Minnesota as they saw their 15 game points streak end in grand fashion to a very game Minnesota Wild team. The Avs have been handling the Wild with relative ease lately so you knew the Wild would come out with their best effort. Couple that with the Avalanche worst effort and it was a recipe for disaster. Colorado made a run at it in the second, but Minnesota was not about to let a repeat of game one of this series happen, and they shut down Colorado in every aspect of the game.
