Los Angeles Angels Drop Series Finale to Detroit Tigers, Our Response to Joe Maddon's Athletic Comments, Is Matt Wise a Successful Pitching Coach?

The Los Angeles Angels couldn't tame the Detroit Tigers for the sweep on Wednesday, thanks to a good ol' fashioned buttercup from Jose Quijada, who gave up two home runs in 2/3rds of an inning. Mike Trout homered for the fourth straight game, and Shohei Ohtani and Matt Thaiss also homered. Patrick Sandoval wasn't quite as effective, but the daytime heat certainly impacted his outing. We'll cover the finale in segment 1!
