With more reliable bullpen arms, they could have taken 2 of 3 from both the Yankees and Giants in their ballparks, so Jason talks about the urgency for adding relief and one reason he would hold off another week or two.
Jason also had some positive takeaways from the road trip, like they outscored their opponents 46-42 and only lost one game by more than two runs. They were in every single game, which is something to build on, even though the results weren't there this time around.
