The trumpet is a proclamation of the message of redemption. Once we are born again, we start from a position of sanctification, holiness, and completion in every area of our lives. How well we walk in holiness is in direct proportion to how well we rest on the finished work of the cross through the cross and the resurrection of Jesus. Our faith is activated when we see that Jesus purchased our freedom on the cross. In reviewing the story of Esther, we are able to see numerous examples of types and shadows between the Old and New Testament. Esther is a type of the church with the King being a type for God. Haggai means meditation in Hebrew. Esther, in not requesting anything except what Haggai recommended, is a type of us saying that we don't want anything except what comes through meditation on the Word. Esther won favor and grace in the eyes of all who saw her. We have grace because of His shield of favor that surrounds us along with the free gift of righteousness. We are seated together with Him by virtue of His Spirit residing in us and His peace transcends all understanding and guards our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
