Kym Yancey is the co-founder, president, and chief marketing officer of eWomenNetwork, the #1 business community for women entrepreneurs with over 500,000 women connected through 118 chapters spread across the U.S. and Canada.

He is the creator and executive producer of The GLOW Project—a powerful film heralded across North America “as one of the most inspiring movies ever created for women,” according to the Orlando Film Festival.

Kym is also a gold-record-winning composer and producer. In the ’70s and early ’80s, he was signed to Capitol Records as the drummer and singer of the legendary funk band, SUN, which frequently appeared on Soul Train and in sold-out concerts throughout North and South America.

He later parlayed his musical skills into advertising and launched one of the top multicultural advertising agencies in the United States. Along the way, Kym wrote award-winning commercial jingles and received more than 200 awards for creative excellence.

He is equally committed to philanthropy. CNN recognised the eWomenNetwork Foundation, which he founded with his wife Sandra, with an American Hero award as a result of the humanitarian outreach and support the foundation provided in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.

To date, the eWomenNetwork Foundation has awarded cash grants to 118 women’s non-profits and 167 scholarships to emerging female leaders of tomorrow.
