Are you content with your life? Or do you wish that life was somehow different or better than it is now?

Friend, let me put your mind at ease. You are not alone. We’ve all dealt with feeling discontented at some point in our lives.

If you are a believer, you know that God calls us to live with a spirit of contentment. In 1 Timothy 6:6-7, Paul shares these words with Timothy. “But godliness with contentment is great gain, for we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world.”

Paul reminds us that we will take nothing to heaven when we die. So we should not focus on the here and now but on the eternal.

In episode 160 of Live It Out With The Planning Woman, I’ll share some thoughts God has laid on my heart concerning contentment. And I’ll give you some practical ways to exercise contentment in your calling.
