Roundup as an herbicide:

Glyphosate, the chief poison in Roundup, has many deleterious biological effects:

Depletes important minerals As an antibiotic: disrupts gut bacteria
-> Studies with chickens, cows and pigs show death of beneficial bacteria and overgrowth of pathogens in gut Blocks the Shikamate pathway Damages microvilli and suppresses digestive enzymes

The most important thing you can do to avoid the probable damage from eatiing food laced with glyphosate is to eat organic.
