Hoping on and off public transit in #London has quickly become a thing for me. I've discovered that I prefer the buses to the underground (or overground), mainly because it's so much easier to just hop off when you see something interesting. #Blackwomantraveling #Blackwomantravelingalone #Blackwomansolotravel

When I left home, I headed toward Clapham, but roaming the streets eventually lead me to Brixton. I've been told that I should see Brixton for many reasons. So, why not explore since I was there, right.
As I walked through the neighborhood with a friend, I felt like I was in #Harlem, #New York to be honest. The houses, the sounds, the people, the food, reminded me one of my favorite cities in the world.
A lot was closed, but we did find a market that was open. Within that market, some of the non-essential stores and restaurants were closed, but I thought I would share a little of what was open with you.
I can only imagine how crowded this market will be in a few months.
