Time after time, I'm asked, "Do I really need an editor?" I always respond the same way, "Yes." Honestly, why wouldn't you want someone to check behind your work to ensure that you're writing the tightest story possible.

Now, of course I now the answer to my own question. MONEY! As an indie author, we're always looking for things that we can cut out. Especially when you think about the fact that most of us do this on a part-time basis, and it's not generating millions of dollars for us.

However, if you follow my #YouTube channel, you know that one of the first cuts libraries do when reviewing books for submission is to discount books that are poorly constructed. Book stores do the same thing.

Your book is a product, and it will be critiqued by many many people.

If you want to provide the best product, consider your options for editing.

P.S., if you found any typos or grammatical errors in this description, well, I didn't use an editor! (I crack myself up.)
