We’d all like to THINK that we are willing to do whatever it takes in order to be successful at our given thing - whatever it is. But let’s not kid ourselves (like we are so good at doing). When push comes to shove most of us back down from the commitments we’ve made to ourselves, the things we know are going to make our lives better but are going to require hard work, sacrifice, tears, and possibly a little bit of blood.

[0:39] This episode: Do whatever it takes.

This episode is a quick examination of what it really means to be willing to do whatever it takes. And I’m not going easy on myself or on you - because I care too much to let us off the hook. We have been created by God as the most creative, industrious, amazing creations and we can accomplish so much more than we give ourselves credit for. But it won’t come easy. In fact, it will be quite hard. That’s why you need to understand what a “whatever it takes” mindset looks like and how to get it.

[1:37] My story about getting started building online income.

One of the things you’ll hear on this episode is the story of how I got started building side income online. I’m not telling my story to impress you or make you think well of me, but to show you that I’m not making this stuff up. I’ve lived it. I know what it means to feel like you don’t have enough time to start a side hustle. I know how it feels to be looking at an already-full schedule but knowing at the same time that you’ve GOT to do something to make a change. There’s a lot here you can relate to, I’m sure of it.

[10:35] Doing whatever it takes is an issue of stewardship.

When it comes down to it, the things I cover on this episode have very little to do with money or extra income. Those are just the means I’m challenging you to use. The main issue is one of stewardship of the life God gave you. AS one of God’s most excellent creations you have a responsibility to use the life He’s given you to the fullest. You have an obligation to make the most of your life, for HIS sake, that you can. If you’re brave enough to listen - and take to heart what I have to say - you’re going to realize that you’ve been coasting along instead of resolving that you will make the most of what you’ve been given.

[14:32] Why buy-in from your spouse is essential - and how to get it.

You need to keep in mind that the sacrifices you’re willing to make (doing whatever it takes) are thing YOU have determined for yourself. That doesn’t mean your spouse is on board. But he/she HAS to be on board if the changes you want to make are going to happen without causing frustration. That’s a very real thing I had to address in my own life and one I want you to handle wisely. So I’m going to give you some pointers on how you can talk with your spouse about the dreams you have to put your family in a better place and to set the stage for God to use you to channel funds to things He cares about.

[16:54] Dealing with excuses, obstacles, wrong beliefs, and other hindrances.

Every person on the planet who commits to making worthwhile changes to their life is going to come up against resistance. It comes in many forms and is birthed from many places, and you’ve got to learn how to recognize and overcome them if the positive changes you want to see are going to become a reality. And that is perhaps the most important part of doing whatever it takes - killing the negative voices and false beliefs that try to hold you back. This episode is only 29 minutes long - but it’s packed full of stuff you need to know if you want to develop a “do whatever it takes” mindset. So… what are you waiting for?
