It was a twenty year period filled with ups and downs, but you can’t say Fox’s X-Men films weren’t at least memorable. After kicking off the superhero boom of the new millennium, it would eventually become an also-ran to the MCU and DCEU. Now as 20th Century Fox is no more and The New Mutants is finally set to be released this month, we look back at the film franchise that made comic book fans both giddy and furious in equal measure.
