This week we talked to Vocalist and guitarist Jake, of Road Island-based alt-pop band, Sporting. Having watched wrestling from a young age, he developed his showmanship and chokeslam, one of which is beneficial to his music career. The band’s most recent release “#1 enemy” is a more personal song, touching on role models and how our perspective on them changes over time. The band plans to release a new EP in the spring of 2023, with various sounds inspired by their diverse tastes in music.
