This week we talked to Chaney of Texas-based pop-rock band House Parties. While she isn’t making music she can be found in the lingerie section of the thrift store looking for the perfect piece to incorporate into her grunge Tumblr aesthetic. Inspired by Haley WIlliams of Paramore she dreamed of being a badass woman on stage and that is now exactly what she’s doing. The most recent release ‘Side Effect’ was the first under Equal Vision Records touching on things we feel that don't fall plainly into standard emotions. House Parties is going on tour with Games We Play this spring and is excited to hear the crowd shout stuff back at them, lyrics or otherwise.
