Short story writers Chinelo Okparanta and Vu Tran discuss the fiction of cultural identity, migration, and the craft of good writing. Born in Nigeria, Chinelo is author of the collection “Happiness, Like Water” and the novel “Under the Udala Trees.” Born in Vietnam, Vu is author of many published short stories, as well as the novel “Dragonfish.” Moderated by Commonwealth Prize winner Nayomi Munaweera. Recorded live at Z Below during the 2015 Litquake festival in San Francisco.
