This week, Wendy and Toni talk about the ferret and the fox changing their initial feelings about each other in “Love in the Afternoon" by Lisa Kleypas.  A first impression can last a lifetime.  Good impressions tend to lead to more opportunities to get to know others, but those can fizzle out if deeper, meaningful connections are not made. Unfortunate impressions can evolve into worse impressions; but second, third, or fourth chances can evolve into eye-opening revelations.  We may pick up a book because of its beautiful cover, but its contents may not be in line with our beliefs or interests.  With some books containing great content, the summary on the book jacket or reviews help or are required to spark an interest in opening the book, but we must be willing to give the book a chance.  What may be the book, or the person, we judge with lacking a good impression and depth, may just be what we need in our life.  Join the ladies as they discuss how to not judge a book by its cover!
