In this episode of Lists of Nine, Charlotte Donlon talks to Bethany Rushing about nine movies from her childhood that shaped her.
Bethany Rushing is the Director of Mission & Outreach at the Cathedral Church of the Advent in Birmingham, Alabama. Over the past four years, she has enjoyed growing in relationship with parishioners, ministry partners in Birmingham and beyond, and seeing the Holy Spirit stir the hearts of those at the Advent to see his kingdom come “on earth as it is in heaven.”
Bethany graduated from Samford University in 2006 with a B.A. in Communication Studies and a minor in Religion. Before coming to the Advent she worked in fundraising at the University of South Florida, served as a part-time youth minister, and was the first Director of Development for one of the Advent’s local ministry partners, M-POWER Ministries. She also served as a member of the Mission Council for PEARUSA (formerly the Anglican Mission in America) and holds a certificate in non-profit management from Georgetown University.
