Award-winning author Sarah Sanderson writes and speaks about mental illness, abuse recovery, and faith. Her work has appeared in a number of publications, including Fathom, Mere Orthodoxy, The Upper Room, Stark & Main, Bearings Online, and Brain, Child. She is a monthly contributor to Anchored Voices. Sarah also teaches creative writing and public speaking to elementary, middle, and high school students. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in creative nonfiction from Seattle Pacific University, and a Master in Teaching degree from Seattle University. Sarah lives with her husband, four children, and her disabled brother in an old blue house southeast of Portland, Oregon, where her husband Jeremy is a pastor. Her first book, a memoir, is forthcoming.
