This episode of ListenABLE we speak with Ryan Straschnitzki who's Hockey team was involved in a head on collision with a semi truck killing fifteen and injuring everyone from coaches, team staff and players like Ryan. 

"My first instinct was just to get up. That's all I could repeat in my head was 'just get up'. Bt I'm not moving. I look at my legs and they're not moving and there's nothing on top of them"

Today Ryan talks about his dream of playing professional hockey in the NHL being ripped away from him in that moment, the loss of his friends and the past 6 years of recovery and representation.
