Can I get a do over from this past weekend? I mean that in the nicest of ways. It was GLORIOUS having 4.5 days TO MYSELF. No husband and no kids. No sporting events, no birthday parties, no previously scheduled activities. NOTHING was on my calendar. I did all the things, and I did none of the things. For the first time in 8 years (since Zach was born,) I slept in my house all alone. I woke up to silence. I binged watched shows I've been meaning to watch for months, I took a bath. A friggin' bath!!!! I did whatever I wanted. I didn't have to be anywhere at a specific time. I was on my own schedule! This episode is basically a 20 mn brag/ motivational rave as to why it is essential US MOMMAS have a weekend off from LIFE!!!!!!!!!!
