In Luke 13:1-5 Jesus was asked a series of questions. He didn't get into a theological discussion. Rather, he teaches us about repentance. The lesson we get from Old Testament punishment or current suffering is not why is God so unfair. It is about what it mean for you to repent. Jesus is a holy judge and while we all deserve death for our actions, He gives us mercy and grace. The challenge for us is what does it look like for us to repent and bear fruit today.
