In Ephesians 6 (NLT) we are told to put on the armor of God. Specifically, verse 15 says to put on the shoes of peace that comes from the good news. We will be fully prepared when we have the gospel of peace. The good news is that Jesus died to take away all of our sins. Our punishment is taken away. When we are hurt by others we can forgive them because Jesus took ALL sin. We remind ourselves of that good news and share with others which is energizing.
