When we read the book of Revelation we need to look at who it is written to first. It was for John who was receiving the Revelation. It is meant to be an uncovering or revealing of Jesus. When we read the book through todays lens of what has already happened, or current events, we can miss the anticipation the book has to it. We can rest assured that there will be suffering, and Jesus will come again.
