Angels We Have Heard On High

You probably don’t think too much about the shepherds in the Christmas story. Sure, they heard the good news of Jesus’ birth first, but why is that significant? To be a shepherd was not an exalted position. It was a lowly, humble position. And yet, they were serenaded by the heavenly choirs at the birth of Jesus.
