Peter Rysavy, Wireless Technology Analyst from Rysavy Research, discusses with Sean how is the US tackling 5G compared to other regions in the world. The US and China have different parts of the wireless spectrum allocated right now, which could lead to different implementations. We get into the different applications of millimeter wave spectrum or higher than 24 Ghz and mid band or 2 to 6 Ghz. Specifically, the pending C band or 3.7-3.98 GHz December 2020 action which will allow for more US 5G competition and expansion.
