All In // Your Altar (Part 5)

Jacob embarked on a life-altering journey, seeking safety and a wife. Little did he know, this journey would lead to an encounter that forever changed him. As he lay down to rest, God revealed a vision of a stairway connecting earth to heaven, with angels ascending and descending. God declared Himself the God of Jacob, promising to fulfill the same covenant He made with Abraham and Isaac.
Jacob set up a memorial stone, a reminder of God's greatness and His plan for Jacob's life. It's a lesson for us all—remember the times God has shown up in your life. We must share those stories, for they declare the goodness of God. Jacob's memorial evolved into a personal altar. Similarly, we must build our own altars—a space for daily devotion and communion with God. It's a place where we pour out our most precious offerings and seek transformation.
Jacob named his place of encounter Bethel, the "house of God." Likewise, within each of us, there's a sacred space where God dwells. It's where we find purpose, identity, and joy, regardless of our relationship status. Don't put your life on hold waiting for the perfect relationship. Embrace the season you're in, for it's an opportunity for personal growth. Your security doesn't come from a spouse but from a Savior. Embrace your journey, build your personal altar, and find joy in the house of God within you.
