Mark 9:17-24 (NIV)
17 A man in the crowd answered, “Teacher, I brought you my son, who is possessed by a spirit that has robbed him of speech.
18 Whenever it seizes him, it throws him to the ground. He foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth and becomes rigid. I asked your disciples to drive out the spirit, but they could not.”
19 “You unbelieving generation,” Jesus replied, “how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy to me.”
20 So they brought him. When the spirit saw Jesus, it immediately threw the boy into a convulsion. He fell to the ground and rolled around, foaming at the mouth.
21 Jesus asked the boy’s father, “How long has he been like this?” “From childhood,” he answered.
22 “It has often thrown him into fire or water to kill him. But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us.”
23 “‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.”
24 Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”

17 イエスが聞くと、ある男が進み出てきた。「先生！息子が悪魔に侵され、話すことができないんです・・・イエス先生ならと思い、見てもらいに来たんです！！
18 憎い悪魔は、息子が口から泡を吹くほどにドンッと地面に投げ倒し、歯ぎしりをして硬直させやがるんです・・・ぐすッ・・・先生がいないって言うんで、先生のお弟子さんに悪魔を追い払うよう、お願いしたんですが、無理だったようで・・・先生、どうかっ！！！」
19「信じない時代だなー！いつまで俺が一緒じゃなきゃいけない。いつまで待てばいんだ・・・その子をここに」
20 数人がかりで取り憑かれた少年を連れてきた。ところが悪魔は、イエスを見るなり少年をさらに苦しめ始める——ぐわぁぁぁ〰〰っ・・・ブクブクブク・・・・・・少年は地面に倒れて転げ回り、口から泡を吹いた。
21 それを見たイエスは哀れんだ表情を浮かべた。「いつからですか？」「もぉ幼いときからです・・・
22 この悪魔が息子を殺そうと、炎や湖の中に身を投げ込むもんで、息子は何度死にかけたか。お、お願いします！もし救えるなら、うちの子を救ってくださいッ！！」
23「なぜもしと言う？・・・信じる者に不可能はない！」
24「し、信じますとも！どうか、不届き者である私がもっと信じられるように、助けてください！！！」
