Jesus Wants To Help Our Hearts

(Mark 4:1-9 NET) Again he began to teach by the lake. Such a large crowd gathered around him that he got into a boat on the lake and sat there while the whole crowd was on the shore by the lake. (2) He taught them many things in parables, and in his teaching said to them: (3) “Listen! A sower went out to sow. (4) And as he sowed, some seed fell along the path, and the birds came and devoured it. (5) Other seed fell on rocky ground where it did not have much soil. It sprang up at once because the soil was not deep. (6) When the sun came up it was scorched, and because it did not have sufficient root, it withered. (7) Other seed fell among the thorns, and they grew up and choked it, and it did not produce grain. (8) But other seed fell on good soil and produced grain, sprouting and growing; some yielded thirty times as much, some sixty, and some a hundred times.” (9) And he said, “Whoever has ears to hear had better listen!”
(マルコ 4:1-9 JCB)イエスが湖のほとりで教えておられると、またもや多くの群衆が集まって来ました。それでイエスは小舟に乗り、そこに腰をおろして、お話しになりました。(2)イエスが人々に教えられる時には、たとえ話を使うのが普通でしたが、この日の話は次のようなものでした。(3)「よく聞きなさい。農夫が種まきをしました。畑に種をまいていると、(4)ある種はあぜ道に落ちました。すると鳥が来て、その種を食べてしまいました。(5)別の種は土の浅い石地に落ちました。初めは勢いよく成長した種も、 (6)土が浅いため、根から十分養分を取ることができず、強い日差しの中で、すぐに枯れてしまいました。(7)また、いばらの中に落ちた種もありましたが、いばらが茂って成長をはばみ、結局、実を結べませんでした。(8)けれども中には、良い地に落ちた種もありました。その種は、三十倍、六十倍、いや百倍もの収穫をあげることができたのです。(9)聞く耳のある人はよく聞きなさい。」

(15) These are the ones on the path where the word is sown: Whenever they hear, immediately Satan comes and snatches the word that was sown in them. (16) These are the ones sown on rocky ground: As soon as they hear the word, they receive it with joy. (17) But they have no root in themselves and do not endure. Then, when trouble or persecution comes because of the word, immediately they fall away. (18) Others are the ones sown among thorns: They are those who hear the word, (19) but worldly cares, the seductiveness of wealth, and the desire for other things come in and choke the word, and it produces nothing. (20) But these are the ones sown on good soil: They hear the word and receive it and bear fruit, one thirty times as much, one sixty, and one a hundred.”
(マルコ 4:13-20 JCB)それにしても、こんな簡単なたとえがわからないのですか。そんなことで、これから話すほかのすべてのたとえは、どうなることでしょう。(14)いいですか。農夫とは、人々に神のことばを伝える人のことです。このような人たちは、聞く人の心に良い種をまこうとします。(15)初めの種が落ちた踏み固められたあぜ道とは、神のことばを聞いても心を堅く閉ざした人のことです。すぐにサタンがやって来て、そのことばを忘れさせてしまうのです。(16-17)土が浅く石ころの多い地とは、最初は喜んで神のことばを聞く人の心を表しています。ところが、そんな地に落ちた種は、根を深くおろすことができません。だから、初めのうちこそうまくいっても、迫害が始まると、たちまちぐらついてしまうのです。(18-19)いばらの地とは、神のすばらしい知らせに耳を傾け、それを受け入れる人の心を表しています。けれども、すぐにこの世の魅力、金もうけの楽しさ、欲望のとりこになり、神のことばなどは心からはじき出されて、実を結ぶまでには至らない人です。(20)良い地とは、神のことばをまちがいなく受け入れて成長し、神のために、三十倍、六十倍、百倍もの収穫をあげる人の心を表しています。」
