Do you know what is enough work for you?

Paul Jarvis shares why he believes building a business to provide you exactly what you need will give you greater freedom than focusing only on making as much money as possible.

He wants to give you permission to know what is enough work for you.

He recently published must-read book, Company of One, lays out his argument for why keeping your business small can make running your business more enjoyable.

He’s also a podcaster and has developed several digital products to help solopreneurs run their businesses.

Coaching Advice

Paul is a self-described introvert but understands outreach is a fundamental part of running his business.  He shared this advice on how to reach out to others on your terms:

1) Accept your instinctive feelings about reaching out to people and work within those parameters.  For example, he’s not comfortable in groups so he avoids networking groups and conferences in favor of doing things like one-on-one calls.

2) Observe which outreach activities that energize you and avoid those that drain you.
