Bringing the Gangnam Style this Episode…

Edward Price

The creator of this site and Deputy Editor/The Face/the Voice/The Bendy Limbs/Mr Nintendo/The Ninja/The Dream Ruiner/The Tart of Gaminglives. Apparently his go-to response after every one of this is “I’m going to sit and cry now”. Boo Hoo.

Richie Harkness

Creator of The 80s Movie Club who doesn’t like the Wii U, Americans or being reverse groomed. His constant vitriol is actually used to power the servers this podcast is hosted on [citation needed].

Markuz Reid – Creator of Gaminglives.com and this podcast’s theme tune. His last appearance was in the excellent “Resident Elvis” episode, and in the time period since his hatred for Billy Mitchell seems to have grown into something weirdly sexual. If I wore a flag tie and sold hot sauce, I’d be worried.

Ric Cowley

Creator of Signposted Disaster and Heavy Rain apologist. He buys PS3s just for Quantic Dream games and thinks Sunshine was the best Mario. We might have to stage an intervention.

In which we gabber furiously about…

- We start on a new tact as we talk about the games we’re most looking forward to, including Jet Set Radio, XCOM: Enemy Unknown and Borderlands 2, prompting a short discussion of why the Gamecube (or in Richie’s case, the Dreamcast) was the greatest console ever.

- Ed tries to hijack a Borderlands 2 Bungee Jump event to propogate the Life’s A Game podcast in what will be the first (and probably) only time he attempts podcast dominance.

- The time-honoured tradition of what we’ve been playing lately comes back, featuring Borderlands 2, Tiny Troopers, Worms Revolution (and why Ed is the worst person at naming Worms ever), Curiosity: What’s Inside The Cube, Double Dragon: Neon, Duke Nukem Forever and Sleeping Dogs.

- The Wii U has a launch date and a price model, but despite all of Richie, Ric and Mark’s reasons the Wii U won’t win, Ed doesn’t care because the Super Marios in the HDs.

- Speaking of the higher definitions, Black Mesa has been released, which causes Ed to start discussing how he wouldn’t have minded in-game ads in Sleeping Dogs. You know, because he’s a mental.

- The in-game ads segues to Obama’s paid ads to assist himself in his re-election, which causes Ric and Richie to discuss arcade gaming. Seriously, tangents man.

Resi 6 got released early, and we discuss why you’d be silly to pay ridiculous amounts of money for the chance to get a game earlier than everyone else why

-Pitch Time! The gang come up with their own zombie-themed games to help stave off the inevitable slew of terrible undead-based titles.

Episode 19 will be available at some point in October!
