Brian Stack, Writer and Performer, joins Susan and Ben to discuss A Thousand Clowns, a 1965 comedy. Brian shares what it’s like having a career as a writer and performer in late night TV. He discusses working for Conan O’Brien and Stephen Colbert, getting into improv after meeting Mick Napier at Indiana University, performing with Chris Farley at the Arc in Madison, WI, how a sketch moves and changes from the writers room to what is shown on TV, working through his own melancholy through the characters he’s developed, meeting Walter Cronkite while dressed as a 7-foot-tall Frankenstein, and opening for Slipknot as the Slipnutz at the Continental Airlines Arena in New Jersey.  We also feature a special question from one of our patrons, Ben Konowitz! Brian plays our “Late Night Guess It Right“ game.
