How is technology shaping the future of PreK–12 instruction?

In this week’s episode of Life in the Cloud, Kris Reddy interviews his friend Nick Gardner, the Executive Director of Watershed Collaborative. Nick shares his founder story and provides enlightenment on the VTS space.

VTS, or Visual Thinking Strategies, is an education model formulated for museums. Now, Nick and Watershed are working to transform the classroom through the usage of VTS.

The problem has been tinkering with VTS to allow it to be more widely adopted, having it add immediate value in the classroom, and to do so at scale.

Nick highlights the advantages of VTS, including the development of critical thinking skills. Its ability to nurture students’ self-confidence allows for more open sharing of ideas.

Nick believes VTS will have an impact on the overall culture and ethos of schools. How else could it make a difference? Listen to this episode to learn more.
