I am going to level with you, there are many kinds of products that fast food restaurants sell internationally that I think are a bit anomalous, and I think you'd think the same way once you listen to this podcast. And yes, a lot of them can still be bought today. Some of these to name:
1. Land, Sea, and Air Burger | A secret menu item you can buy at McDonald's that is a burger that is stuffed with a chicken patty, a beef patty, and a Filet O'Fish. It's on the McDonald's Secret Menu, not because it's exclusive, not even because they're ashamed of it, but because they're protecting us.
2. Quesadilla | Chipotlé (yes, I say that with an é) actually has this concoction if you simply ask for it. By default, they'll make your meal with a burrito tortilla folded in half. Or, you could even request that they make yours with two corn tortillas. Add in chicken and fajita veggies if desired!
And so on! Whatever floats your pontoon.
