There are things you cannot control such as thoughts, words, feelings,  actions, and behavior of others, but what you can control is your thoughts, your words, your feelings, your actions, and your behavior. The goal isn’t to get rid of all negative thoughts and feelings. That’s impossible, but to change your response to them. Remember you alone get to choose what matters and what doesn’t. The meaning of everything in your life has precisely the meaning you give it.
