As the Alzheimer's Association gets ready to re-open their doors post-pandemic they reflect on lessons learned and how to move forward. Sabrina Strawn visits with Kim Hegwood about upcoming events and how the association will move forward.

A few of the questions Kim will be asking are:

1. What's happening in June at the Alzheimer's Association (The Longest Day and the Caregiver Symposium)?

2. What have we learned about access to resources?

3. How will access to resources change post-pandemic?

4. What resources are available?

Bio:

After having received a Masters in Public Policy from UT, Sabrina Strawn has spent most of her career connecting the public with the resources available in universities and nonprofits. In addition, she spent a decade caring for a family member with dementia and knew seven other family members who died from Alzheimer's Disease. Therefore, she joins many others and the Alzheimer's Association in the fight for the first survivor.
