PROMISE KEEPER: THE PROMISE FOR EMPOWERMENT Sunday, May 31, 2020

In Genesis 1 the “spirit” moves over the face of the waters.

Then, God breathes into man the “breath of life.”

God’s original plan was that His Spirit would be with us and in us.

Over the next several millennia the Spirit of God came upon both men and women who were judges, warriors, prophets, priest and kings, giving them help, strength and direction.

Psalms 139:7-12

God starts planting the seed of the “infilling of His Spirit.”

God is with His people, but He longs to be in them.

In Genesis 11 God used language to cause the people to operate in various cultures and kingdoms.

Today, God uses the language of the Spirit to draw people together, into the culture of the Kingdom.
