PREPARING FOR THE NEW NORMAL
PASSOVER SUNDAY
SUNDAY, APRIL 5, 2020

This is a time where we need to prepare for our new reality.

1. This is a fresh start

Exodus 12:2

As people of faith, I believe we should start anticipating the NEW.

2. Take the Lamb

Exodus 12:3b

Under the new covenant we know Jesus is the Lamb. He was the lamb that was slain for the sins of all mankind.

This is the time to make Jesus the Lord of your life and Lord of your house.

3. Plead the blood

Exodus 12:7

This is a picture of Jesus on the cross, shedding His blood for you and I.

4. Get dressed

Exodus 12:11a

During the nine previous plagues, the people were not ready for their deliverance.

God tells them to get dressed and be ready.

Ephesians 6:10-18

We must put on the whole armor of God.

5. Get ready to walk it out

Exodus 12:11b

What do you need to do now to prepare yourself for what’s ahead?

This is your staff - this is what you will lean on for the journey into the new normal.

Exodus 12:11 says, “So you shall eat it in haste. It is the Lord’s Passover.”

Don’t waste time as we prepare for the new normal!
