Preparing for Encounter

Can we predict God ENCOUNTERS?

A prepper is thinking about all the possibilities and what will be needed in time of crisis - Water, solar panels, food, fuel, protection, etc…

Where people have expectations, they prepare.

If you and I believe that God is a God of encounters, why wouldn’t we prepare for the event?

Acts 10:1-4

Prior to the mention of the vision with angelic beings and heavenly voices, it gives us an interesting description of 4 things that Cornelius did:

1.   Devout - totally committed to a cause or belief.

2. Fear of God - respect, awe, terror, to be
    frightened 

3. Generosity - the quality of being kind 
    and generous.

4. Prayer - a solemn request for help or  
    expression of thanks addressed to God
    or an object of worship.

Baby Dedication - NEXT Sunday, September 29th is our annual baby Dedication beginning at 4PM. This is going to be a special time of dedicating our children to the Lord.

5th Sunday Family Worship– NEXT Sunday, September 29this 5th Sunday! On There will be no classes as all kids are encouraged to sit in service with their families! Nursery will be provided for crawlers to 36 months.

Christmas Drama - Starting the 1st of October, Kids Chapel will be launching this year's Christmas drama practices. Practices will be every Sunday during Kids Chapel service. Stay tuned for more information!
