We must protect that which is sacred.
1. Don’t make the holy common
2 Kings 20:12-17
Holiness is a treasure that we should protect as such.
2. Make sure your motive is pure
Part of protecting the holy is to keep it sacred and live it out in honor to God.

3. Build healthy, spiritual boundaries

Although this was a law that pointed to a physical fence or a type of guard rail around the top of the roof, God, in His wisdom, saw this as a potential problem and made a law to cover the accident that might happen.
The Jews carried this law a step farther. They chose to build a fence around the Torah in order to protect the holy.
Holiness is not meant to keep us down and hold us back from life but to open doors and give us an opportunity to live the abundant life.
