The Big Picture #7 - The Failure

Following the promise made to King David, his descendants after him don’t live up to the expectation that we might have for them. One after the next the Kings fail. The nation of Israel is split in two, and after consistent and increasing sin, God’s people are evicted from the land that God gave to them. But this story is not without hope. God promised his people through the prophets that they would return, and a new covenant would be made, one that would last forever, and where God’s word would be written on every heart of every person!
