Why did Jesus have disciples?

If Jesus came today, do you think he would choose you to be one of his 12 disciples?

Four shifts you have to make as you join Jesus in the uncommon life:

"Jesus is part of my life" shifts to "Jesus is the center of my life" (Philippians 3:8 NLT)
"Jesus sends someone else" shifts to "Jesus is sending you" (John 20:21 NLT)
"Be a leader for Jesus" shifts to "become a follower of Jesus" (John 10:14-16 NLT)
"The invitation is reserved for religious professionals" shifts to "it's people on the mission with Jesus" (1 Peter 2:9 NLT)
