The title of today’s show is ‘THE TRUTH OF THE MATTER.’ We will continue to  discuss the on-going government shut down asking the questions when will it end; will be another year; why all of the politicking rather than focusing on the needs of the people.  We will also discuss the political saga of Tamika Mallory and Louis Farrakhan; why is her relationship with him so problematic for so many people?  If it were any other Clergical leader would not even matter; so what is the problem? We will also discuss CJ Jordan’s comment that Trump is compassionate about the furloughed workers not receiving checks—how so? And finally, a dishwasher who is fired for refusing to work on Sunday receives $21.5 million judgment.  We will be discussing these as well as other topics.  We would love to hear your opinions.

Black History Person: Shirley Ann Jackson, born in 1946 in Washington, D.C., has achieved numerous firsts for African American women.  She was the first black woman to earn a Ph.D. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.).
