Happy National Train Day!

Kansas City Nathan will host an open forum to give you, the listeners, the chance to call in. Also our regular guests will call in and talk about recent trips, chases, etc., and also recent railroad news.

On May 8, 2010, people and organizations around the United States will celebrate the third annual National Train Day, celebrating the event that took place on May 10, 1869 in Promontory Summit, Utah--where East meet West with a ribbon of iron-rail and was finalized with a golden spike. Events, around the country, will take place this weekend and we would like to hear from you and tell us about how people from around the country are celebrating in your area. If that means, sitting along your favorite right-of-way, or sitting in front of your computer screen, listing to your favorite Internet radio talk show--talking about trains--or attending one of the organized events around the country, we want to hear from you.
