Founded in 1985, the Canadian Cerebral Palsy Sports Association is a non-profit organization passionately dedicated to helping individuals with cerebral palsy or a related disability access quality sport and recreation activities. They do this through program delivery, education, advocacy and partnership. Physical activity and the pursuit of excellence in sport can be rewarding for everyone. They believe people with cerebral palsy should have the opportunity to develop their full athletic potential with the support of trained, knowledgeable coaches. Peter Leyser is the executive director of the Association he joined me this week to discuss the Association's mission and how they are working to increase opportunities for athletic competition for people with cerebral Palsy.
