This 1 billion people include those with moderate or severe distance vision impairment or blindness due to unaddressed refractive error (88.4 million), cataract (94 million), age-related macular degeneration (8 million), glaucoma (7.7 million), diabetic retinopathy (3.9 million) (1), as well as near vision impairment.

For Australian keynote speaker Fiona Demark, she helps people who are stuck or frustrated with their life to transform their dreams into a new reality. She is a legally blind inspirational speaker who empowers audiences through a captivating presentation of my personal story of a life lived as legally blind. She shares with audiences  her story and demonstrates that even when ‘life serves you lemons, you can still make lemonade’.

“My conversation can address issues such as overcoming adversity, goal setting, building resilience and effective communication. I provide not only my personal story but utilise my qualifications to provide tools and strategies for your audience to take away and implement into their career or personal life.” She joined me this week to tell me more.
