The Alliance for Equality of Blind Canadians (AEBC) is a national charitable organization of primarily blind, deafblind, or partially sighted members. We are committed to increasing awareness of our rights, to ensure that we can equally participate in all aspects of society. AEBC is a leader in leveling the playing field for our community. Since 1992, AEBC has participated in working groups and committees at the national, provincial, and municipal levels. AEBC advocates for accessibility, equality, and the elimination of barriers in how organizations and businesses deliver products, programs, and services across Canada.  Ian White is the President of the Canadian Council of the Blind Toronto Visionaries, and Christine Zannier

Project Lead, International Day of Persons with Disabilities Conference AEBC Toronto Chapter, joined me this week to discuss the Chapter’s upcoming conference, and how we can continue to move the needle of progress forward for inclusion for all blind Canadians.
